Body Language and Behavior Analysis No. 4761: Donald Trump re wanting Ivanka to be UN Ambassador or Secretary-General of the United Nations

On Friday 30 Aug. 2024, Donald Trump sat for an 'interview' at a "Moms for Justice" event in Washington, DC. What follows is a body language, paralanguage, and statement analysis of a crucial portion of that 'conversation'.

About 13 minutes into his 'interview', Donald Trump was asked a question regarding why he "chose and continues to choose to work with his children in business and politics".

Trump immediately began talking about his oldest daughter, Ivanka. The video segment included above begins about a minute later.

Recounting a conversation he says he had with Ivanka, Trump quotes himself, "I wanted her to do that, I said, 'You would be a great, ah, Ambassador to the United Nations, United Nations Secretary'..."

By any objective measure, Ivanka Trump is completely and absolutely unqualified to be an Ambassador to the United Nations.

Presumably, when Trump said, "United Nations Secretary" he meant "Secretary-General of the United Nations" – another position for which she is objectively and profoundly unqualified.

Moreover, a person must first be recommended by the members of the United Nations security council and then be appointed by the UN General Assembly in order to become Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Trump continues, "... You'd – there'd be nobody to compete with her. I tell ya, she may be my daughter, but nobody could of competed with her – with her 'rat-tat-tat' – the whole deal she's got."

As Trump says, "... she may be my daughter ...", he reaches with his left hand for his tie at the level of his lower sternum/epigastric region. He lifts his tie off of his chest-abdomen, then lets it fall back while continuing to hold it.

Still holding the tie, Trump slides his hand further down to his umbilical region, then lifts his tie up once more, and again he lets it fall back while still holding it.

Then Trump slides his fingers yet further down his tie to his lower mid-abdomen/just above his groin region and he looks as if he's going to perform this gesture again, but – then stops, retracting his left hand and as Trump says, "with her 'rat-tat-tat' – the whole deal she's got."

Tie-touching in general, *depending on the verbal and nonverbal context*, is often a form of self-preening seen during moments of anxiety – or, alternatively, peacocking while trying to assert oneself. Context matters.

Although men's ties are certainly considered by many/most to be 'dress code' and etiquette in certain societies during various activities – for some men, they are thought of as clothing of masculine assertion – phallic symbols – modern analogs of codpieces.

There is little mystery to which of these categories Donald Trump's tie-psyche belongs. It's well documented that he virtually always wears his ties tied such that they 'hang-long'.

In addition, Trump, having publicly stated he believes hand size and penis size are correlated (i.e., during 2016 debates), and since everyone can see the size of his hands – he is highly sensitive.

Trump's long tie posture is his wishful proxy. It's compensatory behavior.

In the context of this surrogate behavior, the timing of Trump's touching, lifting, and sliding his hand downward on his own tie while talking about Ivanka is highly-suggestive of sexual thought-emotions.

And what of the idiom, "with her rat-tat-tat"? What does Trump mean by "rat-tat-tat"? He's certainly NOT using this expression onomatopoeically to indicate a knocking on a door or the sound of a machine gun.

There may very well be some meaning to "rat-tat-tat" with which I'm unfamiliar (please send any additional slang meanings along), but in some circles "rat-tat-tat" is a specific sexual slang (see urban dictionary).

You may have also noticed Trump's tongue jut just after he said, "with her 'rat-tat-tat' – the whole deal she's got". In this context, this dynamic is a Predatory Tongue Jut indicative of sadism.

His accompanying eyelid closure, although not a required component, in this context, acts as an amplifier to his underlying predation and sadism.

SUMMARY: Donald Trump's necktie self-touching whilst he's talking about his daughter ("with her 'rat-tat-tat' – the whole deal she's got") is highly-suggestive of his sexual thought-emotions.

Donald Trump believes his daughter, Ivanka Trump, is somehow qualified to be the Ambassador to the United Nations as well as the Secretary-General of the United Nations. This far exceeds extreme nepotism – and is yet another example of Trump's delusion and dementia.
